This is a silverpoint drawing (or silver point? I don't know which one is proper...). I did it with a small piece of pure silver wire on what is basically a special kind of gesso. It pretty much looks like pencil... but it's similar to ink in that it doesn't really erase or smear. If I could redo this (which I guess technically I could,) I would only redraw the head and neck. Also, this picture is not the best representation of this drawing. I might take a better picture and update this post later... we'll see.
